Culinary School

Culinary schools help prepare people for careers in the culinary arts, including baking, being a chef, or working in a restaurant, hotel, resort, executive dining room, or other establishment that serves food. There are various levels of culinary schools, with different levels of tuition. Some can cost as much as $15,000 per year.

Culinary school admissions requirements vary depending on the school. Usually it only requires a high school diploma or a GED.
