Dashboard Confessional is an American rock band from Florida. They are fronted by the folksy Chris Carabba.

About Dashboard Confessional

The band Dashboard Confessional began merely as a solo project of Chris Carraba. Chris was formerly the lead singer of Forever Seems Forever. The third album, A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar,' was released in 2003. By now the band had built up a good following and the album peaked at #2 on the Billboard charts. Following in that success in 2004 the band was asked to record a single for the movie 'Spider Man 2.' Vindicated can be found on that movie’s soundtrack as well as during the movie’s credits.

Dashboard Confessional went on to record three more albums together. On 2010, they re-released the first album, The Swiss Army Romance’ which celebrated its 10th anniversary. In June of 2010 guitarist Jeff Lefler began a solo tour to promote work he has done outside the band. In November of 2010, Chris Carraba also embarked on a solo tour to promote The Swiss Army Romance’ release.
