About Daybreakers

Daybreakers is a 2010 futuristic vampire action horror film. In the near future, almost the entire human population has been turned into vampires. Most continue to practice their jobs and lives as normally as before, but a growing number are transforming into carnal creatures with a demand for human blood. The human population on the verge of extinction, and their blood the only thing which maintains the vampire's clarity of mind, humans are imprisoned and kept alive to harvest the blood they produce. A blood doctor and moral vampire (Ethan Hawke) works for a cure while a group of human freedom fighters (led by Willem Dafoe) barely holds on against the oppressive network of secret vampire police.
