Denali coven
The Denali Coven are a group of vampires from Denali, Alaska in the 'Twilight Saga' by Stephenie Meyer. They are vegetarians like the Cullens, and are close to them for this reason. Edward Cullen, Bella Swan, and their daughter Renesmee Cullen are betrayed by Irina Denali to the Volturi.
About Denali coven
The Denali Coven is a congregation of vampires in the 'Twilight Saga' by Stephenie Meyer. The coven gets its name from their location, Denali, Alaska. The Denali Coven began with a vampire named Sasha and her three daughters, Tanya, Kate, and Irina. Sasha also had an immortal child named Vasilli. When the Volturi found out they killed Sasha and Vasilli, leaving the three sisters alive because they new nothing about the immortal child. The Denali Coven love men, vampire or human.
The coven's members also include two former Volturi named Carmen and Eleazar. They wanted a new lifestyle, and act sort of as parents to the three sisters.
The Denali Coven is also vegetarian like the Cullens. They are considered the cousins of the Cullens in this respect. Tanya is the leader of the Denali clan. She has no special vampire gifts. However, Tanya had a romantic interest in Edward Cullen but he returned no interest in her.
Kate has the ability to shock people when they touch her. She can mentally raise an electric current on her skin, a gift which is useful when thwarting attackers.
Irina has no special talents. She fell in love with the nomad Laurent when he came to visit and try the vegetarian lifestyle. Laurent is killed by the werewolves and she seeks revenge for his death by going to the Volturi and reporting Edward and Bella Swan's daughter Renesmee’s existence. However, Irina is killed by the Volturi for false information.
Eleazar has the ability to see the gifts of other vampires. He is the first to see that Bella is a shield. He explains that it is a mental shield and she needs to develop her skill so she can expand her shield around others.
Carmen, Eleazar’s mate, has no special vampire gifts, but she lives her life in a peaceful manner.
