About Desperate Housewives

'Desperate Housewives' is a popular ABC drama series following the restless housewives of Wisteria Lane. 'Desperate Housewives' is a multiple Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild award winning show.

The series follows four discontent adult women who are neighbors living on Wisteria Lane. Each housewife is mired in bothersome, and sometimes dangerous, drama, involving their marriages, children, adulterous affairs, and the petty annoyances of daily life. Besides the four primary housewives, actress Brenda Strong narrates the series as Mary Alice Young, a housewife who committed suicide to start the series, and who is the most mysterious housewife of all.
