Diablo 3 is the long-rumored game supposedly being developed by Blizzard Entertainment, the third in the best-selling, and award-winning Diablo franchises Diablo (video game) and Diablo 2. official annoucement, it has caused Diablo fans to think it very likely that Diablo 3 being developed currently. Diablo3.com is currently down, indicating that Blizzard could possibly be working on the website. Rumors have circulated that Diablo 3 will be announced at the Worldwide Invitational 2008 on June 28-29, 2008. The dates are important in Diablo history. Diablo 2 was released on June 28th, 2000. And, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction was released on June 29th, 2001. Over the past years, there have been numerous Diablo 3 rumors & facts. There are numerous Blizzard job openings offer positions on, "the team that designed Diablo and Diablo II." Richard Knaak, author of several of the Diablo Novels, states that he is not writing books "for a dead game." One spokesperson from Blizzard had this to say regard Diablo franchise,
