Donald Trump is an American businessman who has had great success in the fields of real estate, reality TV, and in turning his own name into an international brand.

Donald Trump was born and raised in New York City. He graduated from New York Military Academy in 1964, and then the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. His start in business came at his fathers company where he worked in revamping rental housing. By the early 80’s he had moved into revamping entire upscale building properties. Although he ran into financial difficulties in the 90’s, he soon overcame them and continued the business of creating upscale resorts, casinos, hotels, and golf courses. He has also marketed his name so successfully that properties he has had no impact on at all will pay to use the Trump logo in order to advertise the quality of the property.

While maintaining his focus on real estate, Donald Trump has also made numerous appearances on TV shows. From The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ to the Miss Universe Pageant’, from WWF Raw is War’ to his hit reality TV series The Apprentice’ which began airing in 2004.

With his fingers in high-end real estate and entertainment, his aggressive marketing of his name as a brand, and his estimated $2 billion net worth, Donald Trump is one of the most recognizable businessmen in the world.
