Drunk History

Drunk History

So, you're drunk, and what's the best thing to talk about? History! We've collected a wonderful series of videos that depict these actual drunken events as they actually happened! Let's discuss history!

About Drunk History

'Drunk History' is a series of online videos that feature inebriated people retelling historical events in their own words. The series was created by Derek Waters. He also serves as production assistant for the Sarah Silverman Show.

There were a total of 5 episodes of 'Drunk History' uploaded on to the comedy website Funny or Die in 2007 and 2008. The show features actors like Jack Black, Michael Cera, and Danny McBride.

In February of 2010 the show returned to produce more episodes. The show aired on HBO as part of a sketch comedy show Funny or Die Presents. Sketches includes the actors Will Ferrell and Don Cheadle.

Since the people retelling these stories are intoxicated beyond belief, there is often a fair amount of swearing, slurring, and other non-sense. Some episodes include people with a bad case of hiccups, while others show people throwing up.
