Eddie Vedder

Eddie Vedder is an American musician, singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is best known as the lead singer of the popular alternative rock band Pearl Jam. As a solo artist, Vedder recorded the score for the film 'Into the Wild' and his next album, 'Ukulele Songs,' is due out in May of 2011.

About Eddie Vedder

Eddie Vedder was born December 23, 1964, in Evanston, Illinois. At the age of 12, his family moved to San Diego, California and Vedder bought his first guitar. He played in several band throughout the '80s including Bad Radio and Temple of the Dog. In 1990, Vedder moved to Seattle to join Pearl Jam and the band became a major success.
