Eminem (aka Slim Shady) is a rapper, music producer, and actor. In 1999, his first major-label album hit the shelves, titled 'The Slim Shady LP.' It later won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. His follow up album, 'The Marshall Mathers LP' became the fastest-selling solo album in history. 'The Marshall Mathers LP' and his third album, 'The Eminem Show' both won Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album making him the first artist to win Best Rap Album for three consecutive LP's. He won the award again in 2010 for his album 'Relapse.'

His movie '8 Mile' won an Academy Award Oscar for Best Original Song for ''Lose Yourself.'' 'Rollingstone Magazine' ranked Eminem 82nd on the top 100 artists EVER list and VIBE Magazine named him as the Best Rapper Ever. When combined with his group D12, Eminem has had eight No.1 albums on Billboard and twelve No. 1 singles worldwide.

Eminem's latest album, 'Recovery,' was released June 21, 2010.

Eminem was nominated for 10 awards at the 53 Grammy Awards and won two for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Solo Performance.
