About Esme Cullen

Known For: Being a fictional character in the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer, and the adoptive mother of the Cullen children.

Special Talent: No special vampire talent.

Esme Cullen is a loving woman with caramel colored hair and a heart shaped face. She is very passionate and motherly. She marries an abusive man named Charles Evenson and eventually runs away from him when she finds out she is pregnant.

She was changed into a vampire in 1921 at the age of 26. She had attempted suicide after the death of her infant by jumping off a cliff. She was saved by Carlisle Cullen when he turned her into a vampire.

She fell in love with Carlisle and married him. She is now mother to 5 adopted children, Edward, Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie. She treats them like they were her own. When Edward falls in love with the human, Bella Swan, Esme immediately likes her and feels she is good for Edward.

Esme is truly a mother figure. She also loves to decorate houses and restores antiques.
