How to Wash Your Face
1. Tie hair back away from face
2. Wash your hands. It does no good to wash your face with dirty hands!
3. Wet your face with warm water to open pores.
4. Add about a nickel sized pool of cleanser to your hands and rub together to create a lather.
5. Using your fingertips rub cleanser onto skin in small circular motions with little to no pressure. Move in an up and out direction in the cheek area, an up direction on the forehead, clockwise around the eyes and nose and down on the chin.
6. Rinse face with lukewarm water. Water that is too cold can break capillaries causing a blotchy appearance.
7. Pat dry with a clean towel lightly.
8. Follow with an astringent if you have large pores. All skin types should also follow with a moisturizer that matches their specific skin type.
