Florida Beaches

Florida beaches are among the most popular, and beautiful, in the world. Popular beach destinations include Daytona, Panama City, Miami, South Beach, and Neptune.

About Florida Beaches

Most Florida beaches have held the reputation of being primarily Spring Break destinations. Some of these notorious hot spots include Panama City, Daytona, Miami and Destin Beaches; however, Florida is chock full of gorgeous and even remote beaches that can be enjoyed any time of the year, away from the chaos of the Spring Break invasion. So tourists can feel free to take their pick depending on what they are more interested in while vacationing on the Florida beaches.

For those who are interested in a resort, Destin, Ft. Lauderdale, Cocoa, West Palm and Daytona rank among the most popular. For the adventurer, the beaches that are known for their activities are Daytona Beach and The Keys. Daytona has a boardwalk, along with endless beaches and water activities including jet skiing, water skiing, surfing and parasailing. The Keys offer crystal clear waters for snorkeling and diving tours, as well as arasailing and personal watercraft rentals. Great places to snorkel include Bahia Honda State Park and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Avid Surfers should check out Sebastian Inlet State Park and Cocoa Beach for the best waves.

If you want to avoid the crowd, visit Cape San Blas in the Florida Panhandle has 20 miles crystal sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico or Crescent Beach is also relatively quiet. Along those same lines, for those bringing the family, it is apparently better to stay around the quieter, more peaceful beaches with more shallow waters for the kids to play safely.
