For King and Country, stylised as for KING & COUNTRY is an Australian Alternative Christian Rock duo composed of brothers Joel & Luke Smallbone, who are the younger brothers of Grammy and GMA Dove Award winning recording artist Rebecca St. James and the brothers-in-law of Jacob Fink, bassist for Grammy-nominated band Foster the People. The Nashville-based brothers were named one of Billboard (magazine)'s "New Artists To Watch" for 2012. They travelled in 2011-2012 as part of the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular which was the largest tour in the United States 1st quarter of this year. The tour put them in front of over half a million concert goers. American Songwriter raved they are Australia's answer to Coldplay, and among other television placements their songs People Change and Love's To Blame, have both made prominent spotlights on The CW's hit show, Vampire Diaries. The brothers were born in Sydney, Australia and moved to Nashville, Tennessee in the early 1990s.
