Ginuwine

Lumpkin, better known as Ginuwine, is a Rhythm and Blues singer. During the peak of R&B and Hip-Hop in the 1990's, Ginuwine released a number of multi-platinum and platinum selling albums. Lumpkin is named after NBA legend Elgin Baylor. Lumpkin attended Forestville military Academy in Forestville, Maryland. He went on to graduate from Prince George's Community College in Hyattsville, Maryland. Lumpkin received a paralegal associates degree.

About Ginuwine

Ginuwine collaborated with rapper Missy Elliott and music producer Timbaland to release 'Ginuwine...The Bachelor.' The first single from his debuted album was 'Pony.' The single, and album, showcased Ginuwine's vocal variety and smoothness. It also highlighted Timbaland's production ability and innovation.

Lumpkin would go onto to release five new albums, three compilations, and appear in two films. Lumpkin would also be nominated for six awards taking home one for 2000 Best R&B/Soul Male Album (100% Ginuwine).
