Glee
Glee is a comedy drama series on Fox that follows a high-school Spanish teacher who becomes the director of the Glee club at William McKinney High school in Lima, Ohio. He has hopes of returning it to its former glory. Despite initial criticism from schoolmates and faculty, Glee club reluctantly continues improving their program and eventually wins over most of the school and even recruits football players and cheerleaders to be a part of the singing sensation.
The pilot episode aired after American Idol on May 19th, 2009. The series quickly established its popularity and has become a guilty pleasure of even the most cynical TV viewers.
