Graduation is the act of receiving an academic degree for the completion of many types of schooling and training. Students graduate from elementary school, middle school, high school, college, trade school, graduate programs, etc., and then become ''graduates.'' Most often, graduation is an official ceremony in which all students receive diplomas in front of their family and loved ones.
