Protein is important to building and maintaining muscles. Just keep it lean - chicken, fish, turkey, beans and tofu.
Drink lots of water - It can curb your appetite
Eat plenty of whole grains
Avoid processed foods
Eat a little something every couple of hours. A piece of fruit now might keep you away from that candy later.
Avoid fried foods
Avoid sugary soda drinks
Avoid sweetened iced tea - it usually has just as much sugar as soda. Plus it's delicious without the sugar too!
