Kissing. We've all done it either intimately, playfully or as a greeting. There are times when it can be a little nerve racking kissing someone, especially when you're asking yourself am I doing this right? Well, here at the ChaCha Dating and Romance department, we've put together some helpful tips to get you more comfortable with kissing or, for you pros, to improve your skills!

About How to Kiss

Kissing has been around for ages! Depending on the culture, there are several reasons why people would want to kiss. In some cultures it's a way to greet another person, for others it is a sign of respect, and in others it's a sign of peace. In many cultures it's a way to show love and affection. If that's the way your culture is, well, you've come to the right place! If you think you could use some tips on kissing (and who doesn't need more help in that area?), ChaCha has more than enough. Here are some samples:

* Moist lips are good! Run ur tongue over ur top lip quickly before you kiss. Girls: avoid the lip gloss, it can be slimy!

* Kissing Don't: Don't just sit there after a kiss, say something romantic, 'I've been wanting to do that since..'

* Kissing Do: Be passionate, not over the top. You have to be into it, don't just touch their lips with yours and sit there!

* Need to reiterate this over and over! BRUSH YOUR TEETH, even your tongue, chew some gum, pop a Tic-Tac, whatever it takes! Nothing kills a kiss worse than bad breath!
