Jesse Eisenberg is a New York actor who caused Oscar buzz when he starred in 'The Social Network' (2010) in which he played Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. He grew up in Queens, graduated from The New School, and got his start in acting in a small role in theater. His role in the indie film 'The Squid and the Whale' landed him bigger and bigger roles.

Jesse attended East Brunswick Public Schools, Hammerskjold Middle School, Churchill Junior High School, and East Brunswick High School. He also attended The New School in New York City.

Jesse made his Broadway debut as an understudy in the 1996 revival os 'Summer and Smoke.' Jesse landed a role playing opposite Richard Gere and Terrence Howard in ' The Hunting Party.' Before he nailed the role of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook in 'The Social Network,' his most acclaimed roles were in the movie 'Adventureland,' which also starred Ryan Reynolds and Kristen Stewart. Jesse played the lead character in 'Zombieland.'
