John Mayer

About John Mayer

John Mayer is a prominent musician who was born October 16, 1977 in Bridgeport, CT. Showing talent in his early teens, he studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, but dropped out and started his pop-blues musical career in 1997. He soon gained a fan base and his career took off.

Mayer broke out with the release of his album 'Room for Squares' in 2001. The album features the singles ''No Such Thing,'' ''Your Body Is a Wonderland'' and ''Why Georgia.'' ''Your Body Is a Wonderland'' won a Grammy for ''Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.''
