About Jonathan Silverman

Jonathan E. Silverman (born August 5, 1966) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his role in Weekend at Bernie's and its sequel Weekend at Bernie's II. Silverman was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Devora (ne Halaban) and Hillel Emanuel Silverman, a rabbi. He is the grandson of famous Conservative Rabbi Morris Silverman. He has no relation to comedian Sarah Silverman. David Schwimmer was his best friend in high school. He is married to actress Jennifer Finnigan, whom he met when he briefly co starred on the series The Bold and the Beautiful. Silverman is known for his roles in the TV series Gimme A Break!, as well as in the films Brighton Beach Memoirs (a film version of the first play of Neil Simon's Eugene Trilogy), Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Caddyshack II, Little Big League, and Weekend at Bernie's.
