The Kardashian family is of Armenian descent, and is one of Hollywood's 'royal families'. The Kardashian siblings are Kim, Kourtney , Khloe, and brother Robert Kardashian Jr. They are all frequently followed by the Hollywood press and featured on newstands and television. Their fame is largely due to their family's wealth, social standing, and their hit reality TV show on E!, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The series follows the social lives of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe as they manage their empire, relationships, and family drama.

The Kardashian family is true Hollywood royalty, starting with the patriarch, former Hollywood power lawyer Robert Kardashian Sr., who was a friend and legal adviser to O.J. Simpson during his trial. Mr. Kardashian died in 2003 of cancer of the esophagus at 59. But the Kardashian family is no less prominent now with his famous daughters in charge.

As a prominent attorney, Robert Kardashian Sr.'s net worth when he passed away was estimated to be over $30 million. But with their new found fame, and quick rise to the top of the celebrity charts, the Kardashian sisters developed their own money-making enterprise and are now independently wealthy, and still growing.

Not accounting for inheritance from their father's estate, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe have a combined net worth of over $20 million. Kim Kardashian is by far the most successful Kardashian sister. Kim's modeling, fashion lines, and endorsement deals have earned her over $12 million. Koutney and Khloe each have net worths of $4 milllion. Khloe, however, has her fortunes set to grow as she married LA Laker's star Lamar Odom in 2010, worth an estimated $76 million before his $33 million dollar contract takes effect.
