Ke$ha is an American singer and rapper from Los Angeles, California. She started out singing backup vocals for different artists, but didn't launch her solo career until 2009 with the release of the hit single Tik Tok.

About Ke$ha

Ke$ha released her debut album, 'Animal,' in January of 2010. The singles Tik Tok and Blah Blah Blah both made it to #1 on the Billboard charts. The album also contains the singles Take it Off and Your Love is My Drug.

In June of 2010, Ke$ha held a benefit concert to raise funds for the victims of the big Nashville flood. She raised $70,000 for various causes in the city.

On November 22, 2010, 'Animal' will be re-released as 'Animal + Cannibal' with the brand new track We R Who We R.

Ke$ha's self-described garbage-chic style is a little bizarre. She can frequently be seen out in public looking like a combination of the Ultimate Warrior, Axl Rose and Paris Hilton.
