About Life

'Life' is an American television drama which aired on NBC from 2007 to 2009. It was canceled in 2009 even though it initially received critical acclaim and won the AFI award in 2008 for Best Television Series.

The show focused on the character Charlie Crews, played by Damian Lewis. He was a police officer who was falsely imprisoned 12 years for murders he did not commit. Upon being released and receiving a large settlement he decides to fight for justice and help the innocent. While in prison he turns to Zen which he uses to stay focused when he is released.
