About Matthew Morrison

Known for: American musical theater and television actor, known as Will Schuester on the Fox television show Glee.

Morrison began his musical theatre career on Broadway in the musical 'Footloose', followed by a remake of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. He then went on to perform in the role of Link Larkin in the Broadway production of 'Hairspray'. After performing on Broadway for some time, he started working in television, guest-starring on shows such as 'Ghost Whisperer','Numb3rs' and 'Hack'. He also had small roles in films such as 'Marci X', 'Primary Colors', 'Dan in Real Life' and 'Simply Funk'.

Currently, Morrison plays Will Schuester in the Fox television series 'Glee', which was first seen on television on May 19, 2009. He plays a high school Spanish teacher who takes on the task of restoring the school's glee club to its former glory. Fox will air a second season of the show in the fall 2010.
