About Mean Girls

'Mean Girls' is an American teen comedy directed by Mark Waters. In the film, Lindsay Lohan plays Cady, a home-schooled teen who has lived in Africa her entire life. That alone makes her unprepared for her first day of public high school. With the help of social misfits Janis and Damien, Cady learns about the different cliques in the school.

Cady then joins the Plastics, an exclusive group of girls led by Regina. From then on viewers encounter a comical teen story that plays out all too often in the real world.
