Michael Sorrentino, AKA 'The Situation', is an American reality television personality. He appears on the MTV show Jersey Shore. He is full of attitude and knows he’s hot! So confident in is looks he refers to his six pack abs, (or 8 or 12), as The Situation. He is the Guido every one loves to hate!

The Situation was born in Staten Island and grew up in New Jersey. He worked at a fitness center and was also an exotic dancer and did other odd jobs. He was cast along with 7 others for the MTV Jersey Shore. His castmates found it hard to like him in the first season. He often picked on Snooki (Nicole Polizzi) and commented on her curvaceous figure.

Mike makes many public appearances and is rumored to be making around $5 Million in 2010. He has just signed on for the 11th season of Dancing with the Stars.
