Nashville International Airport is a joint civil and military airport in the southeastern section of Nashville in the US state of Tennessee. Established in 1937, its original name was Berry Field, from which it its ICAO and IATA identifiers are derived. The current terminal was constructed in 1987, and the airport took its current name in 1988. Nashville International Airport has four runways, the longest of which is 11,030 feet long, a size adequate to handle all aircraft in service in 2012.
