Olivia Wilde is the actress best known for playing Alex Kelly on 'The O.C.' and for playing Dr. Remy Hadley (AKA ''Thirteen'') on the medical drama 'House.' Wilde is also known for being named the sexiest woman in the world, topping Maxim Magazine's ''Hot 100'' list in 2009.

Olivia Wilde was born in New York City and grew up in Guilford, Vermont. She attended Georgetown Day School in Washington D.C. as well as Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. She failed to graduate from either of the two. But then she moved to Dublin, Ireland and attended The Gaiety School of Acting, which led to her doing initial work in the entertainment industry as a casting assistant.

Wilde's film credits include 'The Girl Next Door', 'Alpha Dog', and 'Turistas' among others. She is widely known as Alex Kelly from the hit show 'The O.C.' She originally auditioned for the role of Marissa Cooper. Wilde is also known for playing Dr. Remy Hadley, a.k.a Thirteen, on the award-winning medical drama 'House.'

In 2006 the magazine 'FHM' ranked Olivia at #95 on the ''FHM 100 Sexiest Women of 2006.'' But in just three years time, she topped all that by making it all the way to #1 on Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 in 2009.

In 2010, Olivia Wilde joined the cast of the Sci Fi action sequel 'Tron Legacy', starring Garrett Hedlund and Jeff Bridges. Wilde plays Quorra, someone on the inside of the digital world in 'Tron Legacy' and the love interest of Sam Flynn (Hedlund).
