Percent Gratuity
When you eat at a restaurant, and you are taken care of by a server, it is customary to leave a tip based on the percent of your bill. A 15 percent tip is the bare minimum for adequate service, 20 percent or more is customary for excellent service. Remember servers don't make a real wage, so they are dependent on your tips to survive.
