Pet Rabbit

Pet Rabbit

Rabbits make good pets, they eat vegetables or specialized rabbit pellets. They are pretty easy to clean up after, they are probably one of the cutest creatures ever and they don't make a lot of noise. However, if you're allergic to cats, you're probably allergic to rabbits.

About Pet Rabbit

Rabbits can make excellent pets as long as you take care of them. You can let them run around your house, but keeping them in a cage when you’re not home is essential. They love to chew, and leaving them to their own devices can lead to destroyed phone, computer and electric cables - if not a fried rabbit.

Along with the cage, they will need a water bottle, food, and bedding. If you let your rabbit run around the house, you can eventually train them to use a cat litter box as a toilet instead of the floor. You could also walk your little rabbit around the neighborhood like a dog. Don’t get discouraged while training your rabbit, it will take a while because rabbits are not very smart.

You should also not really expect your bunny to remember its name, show any affection, loyalty, or any sign at all that it knows who you are. If you would like to have a pet rabbit, please consider adoption. Your local animal shelter or humane society are great places to start. Take care of your rabbit and it’ll give you loads of enjoyment.
