Peter Scolari (born September 12, 1955) is an American television, film and stage actor best known for his roles in the television shows Newhart, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, and Bosom Buddies, the last of which he co-starred in with a then-unknown Tom Hanks. Scolari has appeared on Broadway in Sly Fox and Hairspray, and Off Broadway in Old Man Joseph and His Family, The Exonerated, In the Wings, The Music Man, and White's Lies.
