Alecia Beth Moore (born September 8, 1979), better known by her stage name Pink (stylized as P!nk), is an American singer-songwriter, musician and actress. Pink released her first single, There You Go and her debut album, Can't Take Me Home in 2000. They were followed by two further singles, Most Girls and You Make Me Sick. Although it was not her most successful album, it was still certified platinum in the United Kingdom and 2 Platinum in the United States. In 2001 she released her second album M!ssundaztood. Just Like a Pill, one of four singles from the album, became Pink's first number-one single reaching the top of the UK Singles Chart. In November 2003, Pink released her third album, Try This. Although the album charted highly in most countries, its single releases Trouble, God Is a DJ and Last to Know did not fare as well, as her run of top-ten hits in the United States ended.
