The earth is only 4 billion years old now, so this wont happen any time soon.

Planetary alignment is often focused on by astrologers and soothsayers who foretell the end of the world. December 21, 2012 is said to be the next supposed planetary alignment. However will it really a true alignment? No, for a true alignment of all the planets and moons would have to form a straight line leading directly to the sun.
