About Reebok

Reebok began in the 1890's when J.W. Foster began making shoes for runners that wanted to go faster. His spiked running shoes became the official shoe of the 1924 Olympic Summer Games. The Name Reebok didn't come about until the 1950s, when J.W.'s grandsons started the companion company named after an African Gazelle. Since then Reebok has become a leading manufacturer of fitness apparel and athletic shoes.
