Robert Griffin III, popularly known as RG3, was an all-star athlete in college. He won the 2011 Heisman Trophy playing QB for the Baylor Bears, finished 3rd in the NCAA 400m hurdles championship and was good enough to reach the semi-finals in the Olympic Trials. RG3 was selected 2nd overall in the 2012 NFL Draft, just behind Stanford's Andrew Luck. He didn't skip a beat entering the NFL, winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and gaining a spot on the Pro Bowl team.

Robert Lee Griffin III (born February 12, 1990), nicknamed RG3, is an American football quarterback for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Baylor University, and won the 2011 Heisman Trophy. He was selected by the Redskins with the second pick of the 2012 NFL Draft. Griffin III won The Associated Press 2012 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
