Known for: His number one hits ''Beautiful Girls'' and ''Fire Burning''

In May 2007, Sean Kingston recorded and released the single ''Beautiful Girls.'' The single was based on the bass line and rhythm of the 1961 hit ''Stand By Me'' by Ben E. King and it reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. He is also a featured artist on several songs by artists like Three six Mafia and Justin Bieber.

He was nominated for a Best Artist in the 2010 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.

In May of 2011, Kingston was seriously injured during a jet-ski crash in Miami, Florida. He was hospitalized for three weeks with a broken jaw, writs and ribs.
