Senior Prank

Senior Prank

A Senior Prank is a stunt coordinated by the graduating senior class of a high school or college student body. A well planned senior prank can usually land on the evening news and/or lead to a YouTube viral video with millions of hits. To be successful at accomplishing the prank, it will take organization, planning, persuasion, creativity, and follow-through skills. If the student body doesn't follow through and you are the only one wearing a toga on the last day of school, your reputation could be ruined for a long time.

About Senior Prank

You may want to consider enlisting the help of teachers or other faculty and staff members to help pull your prank off. It never hurts to have someone on the inside helping you out. A good prank should demonstrate your smart, creative mind and not revenge. Revengeful or rebellious pranks can leave a dirty mess behind that sometimes cannot be cleaned up. To get your creative juices flowing, here are some examples of past pranks. A word to the wise: Most principals, deans, and teachers can smell a prank coming since they've been in the business long enough, so don't copy these pranks:

- Set alarm clocks in lockers to go off every couple minutes apart from each other throughout the school.
- Have the entire senior class camp out in tents outside the school the night before the last day.
- Put tiny bookmarks in a bunch of random books in the library that say 'Class of '?' was here!' People will be finding the bookmarks for decades.
- Park cars in an odd configuration early in the morning, making it hard for other people to park.
- During commencement, have everyone palm a funny note when shaking the dean's/principal's hand.
- Fill the school's pool with thousands of little paper sailboats that say 'Class of '?' on them
