Tacori is an American jewelry designer focusing on platinum and diamond bridal jewelry. The family-owned design firm is located in California and retailed throughout the United States and Canada. According to a 2000 article in Couture Jeweler, the brand 'is known for its elegant contemporary and vintage-inspired designs.' The company was established by Haig Tacorian and his wife Gilda after he relocated to California from Europe in 1969. The couples' children and other relatives have joined the family business. In 2000, the company received some press when their ring was featured on television show Friends as the ring with which Chandler proposed to Monica. It was also the ring presented to Trista Rehn by Ryan Sutter on the first season of The Bachelorette. Tacori is also known for excellent customer service and quality diamonds in their unique designs. Each authentic Tacori ring is stamped with their name.
