The Kings Speech (2010)
'The King's Speech' (2010) is the true story of King George VI's greatest speech, given at the outset of World War II and amidst a lifelong struggle with stuttering speech impediment. Colin Firth stars as King George VI, and joined by Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter.

Based on the incredible, true story of King George VI, a stuttering member of England's royal family who is thrust into leading his country during World War II, 'The King's Speech' is an award winning and highly acclaimed drama led by Colin Firth as King George the VI, Geoffrey Rush as the King's speech therapist Lionel Logue, and Helena Bonham Carter as Queen Elizabeth.
Embarrassed by a crippling speech impediment, and obligated to take the thrown after his brother's abdication, King George VI and his speech therapist work diligently behind the scenes to overcome the greatest tool a King has use of, his voice which connects him with his people.
'The King's Voice' was hailed as one of the best dramas of 2010, especially praised for Colin Firth's portrayal of the stuttering monarch.
