Stage 20: Sunday July 25 Longjumeau > Paris Champs-Élysées 102.5 km
Cavendish wins 20th stage of the Tour w/ a time of 2h 42' 21. Petacchi finished 2nd. Contador wins the Tour w/ a time of 91h 58' 48, followed by Schleck + 39 sec, Menchov + 2:01, Sanchez +3:40. Armstrong finished final Tour in 23rd at +39:20.

Stage 19: Saturday July 24 Bordeaux > Pauillac 52 km
Cancellara wins the only time trial at the Tour w/ a time of 1h 00' 56'. Armstrong finishes the time trail +7: 05 behind trail winner. Contador keeps his Yellow Jersey, leads Schleck by 39 sec. Contador is all but assured of a Tour de France win.

Stage 18: Friday July 23 Salies-de-Béarn > Bordeaux 198 km
Cavendish wins the 18th stage of the Tour w/ a time of 4h 37' 09'. He is followed by Dean, and Petacchi. Armstrong finishes 104th, but w/ the same time due to a crash within 5 km of finish. Contador retains the Yellow Jersey, Schleck trails by 8 sec.

Stage 17: Thursday July 22 Pau > Col du Tourmalet 174 km
Schleck wins the 17th Stage of the Tour w/ a time of 5h 3' 29'. Contador however keeps the Yellow Jersey for another day. Armstrong finishes 17th + 4' 12'. Contador leads the Tour w/ a time of 83h 32' 39'. Schleck trails by 8 sec, Sanchez by + 3:32.

Stage 16: Tuesday July 20 Bagnères-de-Luchon > Pau 199.5 km
Fedrigo wins the 16th stage at the Tour w/ a time of 5h 31' 43'. Armstrong finishes 6th in the stage, determined to win atleast 1 stage at Tour. Contador retains the Yellow Jersey w/ a time of 78h 29' 10', he holds a +8 sec advantage on Schleck.

Stage 15: Monday July 19 Pamiers > Bagnères-de-Luchon 187.5 km
Voeckler wins the 15th stage of the Tour w/ a time of 4h 44' 51. Contador overtakes Schleck and claims the overall lead and Yellow Jersey w/ a time of 72h 50' 42', leading Schleck by 8 sec. Armstrong finishes 23rd at 4h 48'59.

Stage 14: Sunday July 18 Revel > Ax 3 Domaines 184.5 km
Riblon wins the 14 stage of the Tour de France w/ a time of 4h 52' 42'. Schleck retains the Yellow Jersey w/ a time of 68h 2' 20'. Contador trails by 31 sec, Sanchez trails Contador by 2 min. Armstrong finishes 70th, 15' 14' back.

Stage 13: Saturday July 17 Rodez > Revel 196 km
Vinokourov riding for Team Astana wins the 13th stage of the Tour with a time of 4h 26' 26'. Finishing 13 sec behind were Cavendish and Petacchi. Armstrong finishes 100th with a time of +4: 35. Schleck retains the Yellow Jersey.

Stage 12: Friday July 16 Bourg-de-Péage > Mende 210.5 km
Rodriguez wins the 12th stage at the Tour w/ a time of 4h 58' 26'. Schleck wins his 4th Yellow Jersey, maintains overall lead. Contador trails by 31 sec. Armstrong finishes 57th w/ a time of +3:35. Lance sits 32nd overall, +21:16.

Stage 11: Thursday July 15 Sisteron > Bourg-lès-Valence 184.5 km
Andy Schleck leads the Tour w/ a time of 53h 43' 25'. Contador trailed by 41 sec, followed by Sanchez at 2:45 back, and Menchov at 2:58. Armstrong finished 32nd and sits 17:51 behind the leader. Schleck claims the Yellow Jersey.

Stage 10: Wednesday July 14 Chambery > Gap 179km
Paulinho wins stage 10 at Le Tour w/ a time of 5h 10' 56. Kiryienka take 2nd, Devenyns takes 3rd. Schleck wears the Yellow jersey with an overall time of 49h 00' 56. Armstrong, riding for Team RadioShack, finishes in 130th with a time of 5h 26' 43.

Stage 9: Tuesday July 13 Morzine-Avoriaz > Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne 204.5 km
Not yet over, but the Tour is looking like a 2 man race between Andy Schleck and Alberto Contador. Schleck took the Yellow Jersey from Evans after Stage 9. Schleck leads Contador by 41 sec. Armstrong finished 16th, 2 min 50 sec behind Casar.

Stage 8: Sunday July 11 Station des Rousses > Morzine-Avoriaz 189 km
Armstrong finished 61st in the tour, involved in numerous crashes, he sits 12 minutes behind winner Andy Schleck. Armstrong admits his Tour is over. Evans took the Yellow Jersey from Chavanel and leads the tour.

Stage 7: Saturday July 10 Tournus > Station des Rousses 165.5 km
Chavenel raised his fist in joy after crossing the finish line 1st w/ a time of 4 hr 22' 52'. Evans trailed Chavanel by 1 min 25 sec. Contador was sixth at 2 min 26 back. Armstrong finished 14th, 3 min and 16 sec behind Chavanel.

Stage 6: Friday July 9 Montargis > Gueugnon 227.5 km
Cavendish wins stage 6 at Le Tour w/ a time of 5h 37' 42. Farrar take 2nd, Petacchi takes 3rd. Cancellara still weatrs the Yellow jersey overall time of 28h 37' 30. Armstrong, riding for Team RadioShack, finishes in 38th with a time of 5h 37' 45.

Stage 5: Thursday July 8 Épernay > Montargis 187.5 km
Armstrong finishes stage 5 in 30th place, remains 18th overall. Cavendish finishes Stage 5 in 4 h 30' 50 for Team HTC-Columbia, claims the Yellow Jersey, followed by Ciolek and Hagen. Petacchi finshed 8th, Contador 19th. TXT Tour De France 4 daily updates TOUR DE FRANCE

Stage 4: Wednesday July 7 Cambrai > Reims 153.5 km
Petacchi A. won stage 4 in the Tour with a time of 3h 34' 55. Petacchi was the fastest in the 189 rider field. Cancellara F. keeps the Yellow Jersey with an overall time of 18h 28' 55.Armstrong sits 18th overall with a time of 18h 31' 25, +2'30.

Stage 3: Tuesday July 6 Wanze > Arenberg Porte du Hainaut 213 kmThor Hushovd won a bumpy stage 3 at the Tour de France. The stage spans 132 miles from Wanze, Belgium to Arenberg Porte de Hainaut. Stage 2: Monday July 5 Bruxelles > Spa 201 km

Stage 1: Sunday July 4 Rotterdam > Bruxelles 223.5 km

Prologue: Saturday July 3 Rotterdam > Rotterdam 8.9 km

Prologue: Saturday July 3 Rotterdam > Rotterdam 8.9 km
The Prologue will occur in and around Rotterdam. The course spans just 5.5 miles. The route can best be compared to a long pursuit race, it should be won be a specialist.

Stage 1: Sunday July 4 Rotterdam > Bruxelles 223.5 km
Stage 1 of the Tour departs from Rotterdam and arrives in Bruxelles 138 miles later. The finish in Bruxelles is to celebrate the 65th birthday of legend Eddy Merckx and everything he has done for cycling.

Stage 2: Monday July 5 Bruxelles > Spa 201 km
Stage 2 spans from Bruxelles to Spa and covers 125 miles. This stage features rolling valleys, no extremely hard slopes, it should end up being a grouped finish.

Stage 3: Tuesday July 6 Wanze > Arenberg Porte du Hainaut 213 km
Stage 3 departs from Wanze and arrives in Arenberg Port du Hainaut 132 miles later. This stage includes 7 sections of cobbles for the riders, 4 huge sections over the last 30 KM, which could cause chaos and flats.

Stage 4: Wednesday July 7 Cambrai > Reims 153.5 km
The 4th stage at the Tour de France spans from Cambrai to Reims. The stage covers 95 miles. Stage 4 is more traditional, presenting no major difficulties. Look for sprint groups to pull ahead and other riders to tend to wounds.

Stage 5: Thursday July 8 Épernay > Montargis 187.5 km
The 5th Stage spans from Epernay to Montargis. The distance is 116.5 miles. Stage 5, like stage 4, presents no major difficulties and is best suited for sprinters.

Stage 6: Friday July 9 Montargis > Gueugnon 227.5 km
Stage 6 of the Tour is the longest, spanning a massive 141 miles from Montargis to Gueugnon. Riders will find shade from the forests in the foothills of the Morvan
range. The route is not very hilly, should produce a grouped finish for the riders.

Stage 7: Saturday July 10 Tournus > Station des Rousses 165.5 km
Stage 7 features medium-altitude terrain with climbs from 4-8 long. The course spans 103 miles from Tournus to Station des Rousses. After the 25 miles marker there is no more flat land, it is up, down, up, down until the finish.

Stage 8: Sunday July 11 Station des Rousses > Morzine-Avoriaz 189 km
Stage 8 spans 117 miles from Station des Rousses to Morzine-Avoriaz. This is where the mountains begin, the stage features a high-altitude finish. Look for climbers to mount an attack on the podium.

Stage 9: Tuesday July 13 Morzine-Avoriaz > Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne 204.5 km
Stage 9 departs from Morzine-Avoriaz and 127 miles later arrives in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. This is the main alpine stage of the Tour, but doesnt have a summit finish. Look for those who lost time on cobbles to make it up here.

Stage 10: Wednesday July 14 Chambéry > Gap 179 km
Riders will leave Chambery and ride 111 miles (179 km) to Gap. This stage of Le Tour will feature a very difficult climb when leaving Vizille, as well the complicated Col du Noyer pass, and a winding descent.

Stage 11: Thursday July 15 Sisteron > Bourg-lès-Valence 184.5 km
Riders will depart Sisteron and make the 115 mile (184.5 km) trek to Bourg-les-Valence. Despite the presence of the Col de Cabre pass, this stage doesn’t include any obstacles that would prevent a sprint finish.

Stage 12: Friday July 16 Bourg-de-Péage > Mende 210.5 km
Riders will depart Bourg-de-Peage and arrive in Mende 130 miles later. Along the way riders will encounter the hot days associated w/ the region and vigirous 10% slopes. Laurent Jalabert climb in Mende is no small task.

Stage 13: Saturday July 17 Rodez > Revel 196 km
Riders will depart from Rodez and arrive in Revel 121 miles later. This stage allows riders who dislike the mountains to breathe easy. This stage is intended for fighters, sprinters, and those who have not yet won a stage.

Stage 14: Sunday July 18 Revel > Ax 3 Domaines 184.5 km
Riders will find gaps opening up on the 114 mile trek from Revel to Ax 3 Domaines. Tiredness will be setting in and riders will dig in for a hard finish. The course is flat until the final 30 km, riders will climb the Ax 3 Domaines.

Stage 15: Monday July 19 Pamiers > Bagnères-de-Luchon 187.5 km
Stage 15 at the tour departs from Pamiers and arrives in Bagneres-de-Luchon 116 mile later. From Port de Bales to the finish the bends are extremely delicate, unskilled riders will lose Le Tour here. Not many places to make up lost time.

Stage 16: Tuesday July 20 Bagnères-de-Luchon > Pau 199.5 km
Riders will depart from Bagneres-de-Luchon and arrive in Pau 124 miles later. The riders will tackle Peyresourde from the start, Aspin, Tourmalet and Aubisque. The Aubisque pass is 60 km from the finish, followed by 30 km of descent.

Stage 17: Thursday July 22 Pau > Col du Tourmalet 174 km
After their final rest day in Pau, riders will depart and head for Col de Tourmalet 108 miles away. Riders will climb Marie-Blanque, head to a valley, then face the 25 km long climb at Soulor.

Stage 18: Friday July 23 Salies-de-Béarn > Bordeaux 198 km
Riders will depart Salies-de-Bearn and arrive in Bordeaux 123 miles later. Normally the final hierarchy is established prior to the Tourmalet pass. The finish in Bordeaux should witness a sprint. Teams will be taking it seriously.

Stage 19: Saturday July 24 Bordeaux > Pauillac 52 km
Riders will leave Bordeaux and arrive in Pauillac 32 miles later. This is the only time-trail stage in this edition. In Bordeaux, riders will wind through the streets. The 2nd half is open country, featuring vineyards and one chateau after another.

Stage 20: Sunday July 25 Longjumeau > Paris Champs-Élysées 102.5 km
The last stage of Le Tour departs Longjumeau and arrives in Paris Champs-Elysees 64 miles later. The winner should clear by this time, only needing to finish the race to capture the 2010 Tour de France crown.
