Universe

Universe

The universe can be defined as the combination of everything that is in existence, encompassing all physical matter and energy that occupy both space and time, as well as space and time within itself. It also consists of the physical laws that govern all of the above. Many ways in which we define the term universe date back to Aristotle, who classified and defined the elements that make up what we consider the universe as a whole, which are matter, form and change.

About Universe

In Aristotle's book entitled ''The Physics,'' he defined matter as the ''stuff of which the universe is made,'' form as the nature in which that matter is arranged and change as ''how matter is created, destroyed or altered in its properties, and similarly, how form is altered.'' The universe includes everything from our planets, the stars and everything within intergalactic space.
