A video game is a computerized game using some type of user input for control. Most modern video games have stunning 3D graphics, professional voice acting, orchestrated music scores, and complex controllers.

About Video Games

Video games are interactive electronics usually played on a television, computer screen, or other displays. Video games come on many different platforms and in a variety of genres. The different platforms include the PC games, console games, arcade games, handheld games, and mobile games.

PC games refer to games that are played on a computer connected to a monitor display or TV. Console games refer to games for a console made to connect to the TV (Ex: Playstation 3, XBox 360, Wii). Arcade games refer to games that are played in a cabinet with a built in display (TV/Monitor). Handheld games refer to games played on systems that a user can hold such as the Nintendo DS or the PSP. Mobile games generally are games built for mobile phones or other machines that are not normally used for gaming (iPhone, PDA).
