Volvo is a Swedish automobile manufacturer that was founded in 1927. Volvo makes cars, SUV's and station wagons. The Chinese automaker Geely, purchased Volvo from Ford in 2010. Volvo is known for their high safety standards and tremendous durability. The Volvo car company is not to be confused with Volvo commercial which produces trucks, buses, marine, aerospace and construction equipment.
