WFNB is an FM radio station licensed to the city of Brazil, Indiana. The station operates on the FM radio frequency of 92.7A_MHz, FM channel 224 . The studios are located at 1301 Ohio Street in Terre Haute, Indiana. The station originally operated with 3,000 watts at 97.7 FM on the FM dial when it signed on in 1972 as WWCM-FM, playing country music. The format changed to album rock in 1979 as WBDJ. However, both WBDJ and its AM sister (1130 WWCM, now WFNF) went silent in 1983 after their owners declared bankruptcy. The stations were sold in 1985 and returned to the air with new call letters and formats. 97.
