The Xbox 360 released on November 22, 2005 as the successor to the original Xbox. The 360 provides several features that appeal to gamers such as voice and video chatting, a persistent music player, and an online marketplace for games and content. Thanks to the release of the Microsoft Kinect sensor, the Xbox 360 is the best-selling gaming console in 2011.

The 360 runs Microsoft’s Windows Media Center, which allows users to organize games, movies, music better. Microsoft has also integrated online gaming, download arcade games, game demos, trailers, television shows, and movies. Users can also stream Netflix and Hulu through their Xbox 360.

Microsoft has sold over 39 million units worldwide. Currently there are two versions available. The Xbox 360 Elite with 120GB HDD is priced at $199. The newer Xbox 360 S model is $199 for 4GB, $299 for 250GB, and $399 for 250GB with Kinect.
