Year One (2009) is a comedy starring Jack Black, Michael Cera, and directed by Harold Ramis. Year One follows the adventures of two prehistoric cavemen, the hunter Zed (Black) and gatherer Oh (Cera), who have failed to adapt to the modern ancient times. Together, they embark on a journey that has them change biblical history by meeting Cain and Abel (David Cross and Paul Rudd), stopping Abraham (Hank Azaria) from sacrificing Isaac (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), and eventually getting enslaved in Sodom. But when Eema and Maya, the two women they love, are captured, they must shake off their ineptitude and lousiness and become heroes.

Year One was mostly panned by audiences and critics for poor writing and poor on-screen chemistry. If you are looking for an intelligent comedy, Year One is not it.
